Incident: orders pile up on an MQ queue, reason 2016
Monitor 08:20: queue ORDER.IN depth 3,600 and rising (normally under 50) Order processing ORDRECV is running and shows no abend
Branch orders arrive on queue ORDER.IN (application ORDSEND puts them) and application ORDRECV takes them off and processes them. Last night change CHG4440 moved ORDER.IN's storage, and the change record says it completed at 23:55. This morning ORDER.IN is filling up although ORDRECV is running. Find out why and get the orders processed.

- Read the application log
- Check the queue's attributes and status
- Get ORDRECV processing again and prove it
