Lessons
- Setting up ISPF the way you'll use itISPF remembers your settings in your own profile, so a few minutes of setup pays off every day.
- Allocating, copying and moving: options 3.2 and 3.3Option 3.2 creates (allocates), renames, catalogs and deletes datasets. Option 3.3 copies or moves data and members between them.
- Comparing and searching: SuperC and Search-ForSuperC (option 3.12) compares two datasets or members and shows exactly which lines were inserted or deleted.
- Browse, View, Edit and option 6Browse is read-only and handles even huge datasets. View uses the full editor but will not save over the original. Edit changes the data.
