SDSF command reference
Finding, reading and managing jobs and system output.
Primary commands
| Command | Does |
|---|---|
| ST | Status of all jobs — queued, running and completed output |
| DA | Active address spaces, with CPU use |
| I | Input queue — jobs waiting to run |
| O / H | Output queues, ready and held |
| LOG | The system log |
| PREFIX pay* | Show only jobs whose name matches the pattern |
| OWNER vsaha1 | Show only one user's jobs |
| DEST xxx | Filter by output destination |
| SORT CPU% D | Sort the display by a column, descending |
| FIND text | Search the current display or log |
| SET SCREEN | Adjust display options |
Line commands, typed beside a job

| S | Open the job's output |
| ? | List the output datasets separately (JESMSGLG, JESJCL, SYSOUT…) |
| C | Cancel the job |
| P | Purge the output |
| H / A | Hold / release |
| SJ | Show the JCL, editable, ready to resubmit |
| XDC | Save the output to a dataset |
