A worked dataset naming standard
An example convention, and how to read one you have been given.
Sites differ, but nearly all encode the same four things. Here is a representative scheme:

| 1 | Environment | PROD, UAT, TEST, DEV, or a userid for personal work |
| 2 | Application | PAY, GL, CARD, CLM, CUST |
| 3 | Content type | SOURCE, COPYLIB, LOADLIB, JCLLIB, PROCLIB, MASTER, TRANS, RPT |
| 4+ | Instance | D20260930, G0042V00, or a cycle number |
